It’s an idea of Gianni Bugno developed by his son Alessio, aimed to recall the glories of that incredible 1990 victory.
A combination of the past and the future.
A limited edition made of 90 pieces, tailored on the anthropometric measurements of each customer.
Each bicycle is unique and exclusive, with its own serial number, which is also shown on the technical clothing kit, made with the highest quality fabric, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by Gianni Bugno.
A refined and elegant design that reflects the essential and introverted character of Gianni Bugno.
Raw titanium, carbon with Glossy finish, and a single color; pink, that pink of the pink shirt worn from the first day up to the Milan finish of the 1990 Giro d’Italia.

The BUGIA\ROSA Frame has been built using the following titanium alloys
Grade 9
Known as 3Al – 2,5V, since it is made up of 3% aluminum and 2,5% vanadium, it is an easily weldable alloy, with a high breaking load (i.e. the maximum force capable of breaking it) and has a high corrosion resistance (stainless). Given these characteristics, it is the most used alloy in the bicycle field for the construction of the tubular frame structure.
Grade 5
Known as 6Al – 4V, since it is made up of 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, it has a very high breaking coefficient, ideal to build the mechanical parts making up the frame such as: bottom bracket, dropouts, etc.
It also has good weldability and high resistance to corrosion (stainless) as the previously mentioned Grade 9.
Frame structure
The tubes of the triangle (diagonal, horizontal and seat tube) are all in Ti Gr. 9, shaped with an oval drop-shaped section.
The tubes of the rear carriage are also all in Ti Gr.9, shaped, tapered and bended, the horizontal rear tubes with oval shape, and the vertical rear tubes with rectangular oval shape.
The steerer tube is an integrated type, Ti Gr. 9, tapered with two different diameters.
The central movement is in Ti Gr.5, oversized BSA type.
The rear dropouts are in Ti Gr.5, through axle type.
The Seat post has a diameter of 27.2 mm made in Ti Gr.9, and the seat post head is in Ti Gr.5.
The BUGIA\ROSA frame is totally handmade in Italy by highly specialized technicians and is built only of titanium elements.
Titanium is a precious and noble material with high mechanical resistance characteristics.
All demanding cyclists, who want a bike with a reliable frame, which never leaves them “on foot” but which is light and quick, must look towards this material.

La realizzazione di un telaio in titanio con tecnologia TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) è molto particolare e necessita di apparecchiature specifiche, un altissima professionalità e abilità manuale
Molta attenzione deve essere posta durante la preparazione dei tubi (sgolatura) che deve essere fatta a mano: poiché lavorare tubazioni con mole o tagliatubi meccanici ne comprometterebbe le caratteristiche
